Awesome. So let me confirm here that Supportbee commits to offering a free account for Github, regardless of needed ticket volume. We're also working on a platform offering, which may be a nice fit in the future as it would allow each team (open company / open source project) on gittip to enjoy the same email support functionality as the gittip team itself. (The powering of open companies is where Gittip is really going to shine, imo. With regards to the discussion in the hangout, I don't think Gittip and e.g. Patreon compete but they complement. Artists will go to Patreon for funding, but if they become so big that they have a team working for them, they could make that an open company on gittip. Just my 2 cents.) |

I should also say that our policy is to not free-load if we can help it. We'll want to give you money, either the usual hard fee, or via Gittip. :-) |

Sounds fine. We are planning of giving our developers a gittip budget in a month or two, so I am sure we can even things out :) |

We need to provide email support for matters that users would like to keep private. @pjc has reached out re: https://supportbee.com/. I've signed up for a trial account and it looks like it could be a fine product. We don't have quite the email support volume yet to justify it but hopefully we will soon! :-)
